Our goal

CME-CPD Academy is an independent educational CME platform for online learning dedicated to the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based continuing education for healthcare professionals. We aim to improve professional practice, and ultimately patient outcomes, through the provision of online courses and live educational events, as well as clinical resources and online tools.

Who are we?

CME-CPD Academy is the online educational platform of Siyemi – an independent CME provider based in The Netherlands and Manchester, UK. The goal of Siyemi is to provide effective, innovative and balanced continuing education that empowers physicians and other members of the interprofessional team, and educators, to improve their professional practice.

In 2015, the education division Siyemi Learning earned the distinct achievement of becoming the first CME provider based outside of the US to be accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).

How do we measure success?

We provide education that is designed to improve or change knowledge, competence, performance and, where possible, patient outcomes.

Our comprehensive programmes are designed using advanced adult learning principles in order to ensure that professional practice gaps are identified, addressed, and closed.

We measure the effectiveness of all of our activities to gauge their success and to inform our future programmes. We are also committed to publishing our outcomes to move the field of CME-CPD forward by establishing best practices in accredited education.

Funding

Each of our independent educational activities is supported through educational grants or is self-funded. See individual Education Centre pages for full details of each programme’s funding.

All CME-CPD Academy activities are run at arm’s length from the financial supporters and all content is created by the Scientific Committees and Faculties in liaison with Siyemi Learning. No funder has had input into the content of any of the educational programmes on this website.
